Advanced On-Camera Scene Study - Acting 201
This course is for actors with experience. Scenes will be assigned for the actors to bring into class, prepared, where we’ll break them down and build them up to make them camera ready. The emphasis will be on making the scene work and then translating that for the camera. We’ll specifically work on objectives, obstacles and what actions do you take to achieve your objective. Special emphasis will be made on connecting with your scene on an emotional level and how to make that work for the subtleties of the camera in the Master-shot, Medium Shot and finally, your close up. All this will culminate to the final performance for the last class to be recorded on your own DVD and for you to take home. Be prepared to do homework and work with a scene partner.
